What is the price of the candle-making experience?
The cost to reserve a class is $40, which includes our signature 9 oz apothecary jar and your choice of two fragrance oils. We also offer a variety of candle vessels as optional upgrades, ranging from $5 to $20. Depending on the season, additional upgrades may be available, such as crystals, wax succulents, or wax flowers.
What are Malicious Women Co candles made of?
We use 100% soy wax and blend our scents in-house, offering over 90 fragrance options. Every candle is vegan, cruelty-free, and environmentally friendly.
What is the cancellation policy?
To ensure a smooth experience for all guests, please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled class time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your session will need to be rescheduled. Each reservation includes one courtesy reschedule; additional reschedule requests will not be accommodated.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be issued for same-day or next-day cancellations, no-shows, or late arrivals.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We currently accept walk-ins. To check class availability, please refer to the schedule(s) above.
How long is the candle class?
The experience lasts about one hour. After the class, your candle will need 24 hours to cure to ensure it sets and burns properly. Candles will be held for pickup for seven days. Shipping is also available for an additional fee.
Do you serve wine?
We don’t have a wine and beer license to serve alcohol, but we also don’t inspect your Stanley cup at the door.
We regularly host special events with local wineries and breweries, and private parties can bring their own alcohol with a $10 Washington State banquet permit.
What is the age requirement for Malicious Intent?
The minimum age to attend our classes is 16. For events where alcohol is served, attendees must be 21 or older.

Want to bring wine to your event?
Yes, please. Just make sure you’ve got a Washington State Banquet Permit—it’s required for any outside alcohol. The good news? It’s super easy. Just hop online, grab your $10 permit, and you’re good to go.
Once you’ve got it, email us a copy at least 24 hours before your event, and don’t forget to bring a printed version with you to class.
No permit, no booze—we don’t love rules, but we do love keeping the Liquor Board out of our business so you can keep sipping in peace.
