We’re Not Distracted. We’re Done.

While the rest of the country is busy rage-scrolling or pretending this is all normal, we’d like to take a moment to remind everyone: We’re not distracted. We’re paying attention. And we’re not playing along.

Because while most of us were just trying to exist, drink our overpriced lattes, and keep up with rent, here’s what the current administration was up to:

A Quick Recap of the Latest Batshit Crazy Bullshit:

• Trump opened his mouth at the United Nations again. And just like last time, the world laughed. Literally. Not metaphorically. World leaders laughed out loud at him.

• An anonymous art collective pulled off a perfect troll move. They erected a statue of Trump and Jeffrey Epstein dancing hand in hand on the National Mall with a plaque reading “Best Friends Forever.” It was beautiful.

• Fox’s Pete Hegseth isn’t just flirting with fascism. He openly called for the U.S. military to “stand with Trump” at the Pentagon. Not in theory. Not metaphorically. He said it out loud on national television. We’re not sure if that’s a war cry or a prelude to restructuring the military, but either way it’s the kind of sentence you only expect to hear in a dystopian novel, not in real life on a Friday.

• RFK Jr. took the stage and, in unscientific fashion, pushed the claim that Tylenol use during pregnancy causes autism. No compelling evidence. No consensus. Just this wild assertion. He joined Trump in demanding immediate label changes and action based on “clinical and laboratory studies” that “suggest” an association while ignoring massive studies that contradict the claim. Trump “felt” like this was true.

• At “Alligator Alcatraz,” nearly 800 detained immigrants vanished from ICE’s public records. Gone. No explanation. No transparency. No accountability. Another 450 were flagged with only “Call ICE for details,” which is just a bureaucratic middle finger to families trying to find their loved ones. That’s over 1,200 human beings who’ve effectively disappeared inside a swamp prison in Florida. Not a single press conference. Not a single Congressional hearing. Just silence. This is a goddamn human rights crisis.

• That Arizona far-right rally that looked a lot like a political funeral? Yeah. The one with the eerie flag-draped casket center stage. Not normal, and definitely not a cover up either.

Meanwhile:

• Roe is still gutted.
• LGBTQ+ rights are under attack.
• Book bans are in full swing.
• Climate denial is back on the menu.
• Billionaires are getting richer. (I just paid $7.00 for butter at Safeway)
• Women’s rights are being redefined by religious extremists.
• Voting rights are quietly being dismantled.
• Project Esther aims to silence dissent and punish protest.

But sure. Let’s act like weekly mass shootings are just weather reports now.

Here’s the Truth:

We see you. All of you. The distractions, the fear-mongering, the manufactured outrage, the culture wars, the gaslighting, and the noise.

We’re not tuning out. We’re tuning in harder.
